first cracked piece

At work this week during the process of making 4 kitchen utensil holders my first ever piece didn't make it through the drying process. Because the walls of the utensil holders stand so tall, they are pretty tough to work with cause they are so wobbly as the clay is moist. Due to that, there is a little drying with the hairdryer necessary. But be careful, not too much or else the walls won't stick together, what probably happend with the one piece that cracked after drying. I am looking forward to crush this big boy up next week.
